After a lengthy spell without a Premier League game, Newcastle will return to action against Stoke City in the Britannia Stadium on Wednesday night.
The Magpies will be looking to massively improve upon their latest performances against Chelsea which saw them succumb to a harrowing 5-1 defeat.
The likes of Vurnon Anita, Siem de Jong and Paul Dummett will likely be available for selection, whilst Aleksandar Mitrovic and Chancel Mbemba could return quicker than expected.
Given how long it’s been since United have played competitively, it would be difficult to predict the starting lineup, so here is my preferred team.
